Three of the most common pool resurfacing options are:
Pebble Pool Resurfacing
Stain resistant and durable, pebble pools are a popular option. But they are rough and can be hard on feet and pool equipment. New technologies have helped solve some of these challenges. Best of all your new "pebble" pool can last 12 to 20 years without need for additional care.
Plastering
While plaster is a common choice (and usually costs less), be aware that the porus surface means you can expect a new plaster surface to give you 7 to 10 years of good service with proper care.
Quartz Pool Resurfacing
Plaster mixed with quartz aggregate makes a great option for your pool. Since it is harder and non-porus - you can get more stain resistance and longer life - 10 to 15 years of good service with proper care.
